I'm baaaaaack!!!!!!!!

Sorry I've dropped out of touch, especially given the timing of my last comments.

Death in The Hot Chick's family. Been working on getting her to her parent's place for an extended visit.

I'll be back again when things settle. Just wanted to poke my head in and let anybody still reading know that I don't get run off quite so easily. I did find the solid week of discussion about axle weights after the fact amusing.

 

Thanks John; her aunt passed and although they weren't close her mother is in a bad way over it. Been fighting corporate to get down there and it isn't happening. Last straw; I've been much more than patient. After I deliver in Winchester VA I'm heading back to Indy and cleaning out my truck, going to work for a small company out of Fargo. My BS tolerance has finally been exceeded. I don't think anyone alive can say I didn't give it every opportunity to work and then some.

 

Bunk heater went out last night. "If you idle you can't get Wage Lock. We won't pay for a hotel. You need to go to a dealer. We won't relay the load. If you're late you lose Wage Lock. If you come to Indy we'll send you to a dealer but we won't relay the load and the late will be on you."

When I quit Thursday, they'll want to know why....
