May your time at the new endeavor be long, prosperous and completely void of any writing material other than fun anecdotes.

Condolences to the loss in your better half's family.

Dominick253 and Captain Zoom Thank this.

Sorry to hear of your family loss...it can be tough to deal with. Glad to see you back, I have been following this thread since you first started it but haven't chimed in much. Good luck to you both in your future endeavors.

Dominick253 and Captain Zoom Thank this.

Good choice. They are on my short list if I ever decide to go back OTR.

The second guessing and criticism are the two biggest reasons I've never mentioned much about my career in trucking. It was short, around 5 years total. With one company (a mega carrier everyone loves to hate). I never made more than .32 a mile. Yes, I could have done better money-wise elsewhere but I just got comfortable doing what I was doing.

I guess my point is everyone has got to find their comfort zone, their happy place, their "mojo" and forget the rest of the crap. I have come to realize I do more editorializing than advice giving. Maybe that's why after being in here for almost 7.5 years I still have less than a thousand posts.

That makes you a smarter man than me, I find myself thinking. People are still trolling me via PM. Pathetic. (Those, I can delete/block)

Not going to go into too much detail, but there was a monkey wrench thrown into the works and I can't go anywhere just yet--looks like Holland is going to have to wait.

Not all bad--I finally got out of the reefer fleet and into dry van. But stuck here at Celadon for a while. Just gonna have to make the best of it, no use crying about what coulda been. I'll make the change when I'm able.

My new dispatch team seems very high energy and professional, at least.

Dominick253, Bumper and TB John Thank this.

Have learned that this truck is due to be traded out in April or May. Can't wait.
