Just when I thought they were out to get me....

They deadheaded me almost 300 miles to get me to NC. Tomorrow I have an 800 mile run that starts as soon as my 34 is up. That run was supposed to go to the temp control fleet but they gave it to me because I told them the situation in Indianapolis is urgent. That puts me through the yard 6 days ahead of schedule. This is a lot more like it.

I'll find out Monday if I'm stuck here. Might find out tomorrow.

 

Heh...somehow I don't think that's their plan. Also I haven't said anything I wouldn't say to my dispatch team or ops manager in person. I've made no secret about who I am. And I've made no secret that I don't really want yet another job on my resume' (recent angry rants notwithstanding). If they're prowling here they already know my grievance and that I have no intention of doing anything untoward. Anything happens, it will be them, not me.

If they want to cut my throat, there's nothing I can do to stop them. So I'm not going to worry about it--waste of time and energy. I'll know in a day or three if leaving is an option. If the insanity has stopped, I have no reason to leave. If I'm stuck here, I can't leave. So I'll make the best of it.

If the insanity continues and leaving is an option, I'm gone.

Simple.
