    Pffffft!

...Trailer tandems, not drives! You can't take a poop and fix the trailer axle! Everybody knows that only works on the drives.

    Sheez, don't you know anything??

Dominick253, TB John and jackoboyo Thank this.

Whew...just spent the last hour looking for a place to park. Got it shut down with 5 minutes on my 14. (Cheated a little--at the rest area on I-35 south bound, just north of Kansas City, and parked on the far end next to the last parking space. It was the only place I could shut down and my last chance before I houred out.)

So, lying here in my Fruit Of The Looms hoping no Revenue Enforcement officers take exception to my semi creative parking. Should have parked at that Wal-Mart an hour ago. This area didn't used to be so crowded.

Got to receiver, put paperwork in trailer, bump dock. Unloaded in 15 minutes. Lift driver comes out to cab. Paperwork disappeared. Figure it blew out of trailer--it was only 10 feet to the dock and not that windy but whatever. Now I get to wait on the sloths at CSR dept to contact shipper to fax paperwork. Preplan in jeopardy. I have nearly 2 hours to get 15 miles to the shipper but it's a hard appointment and so far the company won't let me go get it til this load finals out.

Got the paperwork faxed and barely made pickup on time. Then they weren't ready (expecting me at 1800) and now I'm twiddling my thumbs waiting to get loaded. At least these delays aren't my fault.

Gonna be another decent week, IF I can do it. Right now I've got less than an hour of cushion for the next 1700 miles.

    Bring it on.

TB John, Dominick253 and 4mer trucker Thank this.
