    I think I breathed a sigh of relief myself when I read that you finally got the green light. I actually spoke with a Holland driver recently and he was very happy on the whole with his company. Gotta believe this change will signify good things to come for you and The Hot Chick. Good luck, Zoomie.

    Even Phredd was happy for me!

    Now I just gotta play nice for a few more weeks. And get a DOT physical before we leave. And save my money for the transition.

    We might rent a car if we can swing it. Otherwise we'll be trundled off in an Amtrak passenger train and I'll have to pay for The Hot Chick's passage.

    Gotta put the truck in the shop again. Engine light on for a week now and starting to smell a weird odor, burning metallic smell. Could affect my time off. Of course. Wrote it up a week ago but haven't been able to get routing to a shop. Pretty sure I'm gonna get moved to a dealer when I get to Kernersville. Oh well...still getting 2 days off. Just not necessarily where I wanted them.

    Don't know how long of a train trip you might be looking at but, if you can afford it, get a sleeper car. Everybody ought to ride in one, once in their life.

    You, sir, have the patience of a saint. I woulda delivered the truck PERSONALLY to the terminal already. Right through dispatches blasted window!
