Try the Kroger walk in clinics. I hear them advertised. No idea of the cost.
-
Huh...never occurred to me. Didn't know they do DOT physicals.
-
Saw this at the shop last night. Seemed apropos.Panhandle flash, albert l and 25(2)+2 Thank this. -
They have to be a DOT approved. Could be an MD, DO, or certified assistant. There is a searchable data base
under FMCSA.gov I think -
That's what I've read. They could be on the registry, though.
I might just have to wait til I get there. -
So here's my smartash idea.......Why not use the company clinic before you leave?
-
Well, once I'm physically there I'll be leaving anyway and they won't just do a physical unless you're actually due and it's ordered by Command (I know people who have tried). Case of the sniffles, CPAP supplies, renew a prescription, a boo boo...no problem. Physical...act of Congress.
-
I figure sometime in the next couple weeks I'm gonna be at a truck stop with a clinic and I'll get a physical if I have the money. Mostly concerned about my blood pressure; never been a problem before but stress has been up lately.

Finally got in and bumped the dock. 14 pallets. Unloaded by three forklifts in approximately seven minutes. Hoping the evil spirits have left the trailer with the freight.
