    Freight is soft, and loads are getting cancelled. 4th of July weekend and it's a long one.

    I know. It's been a rocky start, but the atmosphere here is 100% better and the pay for what I'm able to do is higher. Plus I didn't lose too much time with the APU; they made it a priority and treated it like a breakdown since I couldn't sleep in the heat.

    The load cancelling wasn't their fault, and UPS cancelled it 30 minutes before I got to them (which was after business hours and everyone had gone home for the day which is why I didn't get a call).

    I think we're in sync now. Freight always softens on holiday weekends, and I expect to be busy next week. I just hope they can find me something to do this weekend.

    Busy day tomorrow, shuttling empty trailers to Toledo from Indy area. Shut down an hour early to start early tomorrow (and while the parking is good).

    Ugh, I75 in north Ohio is one big construction zone. And Smokey has a huge erection and wants to shove it into a trucker. Saw truckers pulled over before lunch.
