I'm baaaaaack!!!!!!!!

Had to detour through Findlay on the way down.

 

Spending the day tomorrow and probably Monday shuttling empty trailers from Franklin IN to Perrysburg OH with backhauls to Franklin from Findlay. Then got a load picks up Tuesday morning in Franklin delivering in Roanoke VA Wednesday morning. That load may be ready early so will check on it Monday.

 

Had to pull over an hour ago due to chest pain that went from annoying to acute to severe in the space of half an hour. Was looking for an ER but it began to abate slightly after I parked. Decided to take a couple tylenol and a short nap, just woke up feeling no pain. I now understand the term "intense relief."

I've had prolonged spasms in my back before; this felt like that, only in my diaphragm. I'm gonna treat it like that's what it was. Spasms respond well to OTC pain meds and to relaxation and stretching for prevention. Hard to remember that when it feels like someone shoved a hot plate under your lungs. Never had that happen before--started out like heartburn and got worse. Didn't respond to Alka-Seltzer or Tums, though.

Sobering.

Well, back to the salt mines (slings pick over shoulder, marches off whistling)
