Listen in the back ground for the gentle tinkling of spent casings hitting the ground.

Saw a couple drivers bringing their dogs into the rig and holing up in the sleeper with them to help them through the fireworks. Good on you both. This is a frightening time for the doggies. They need extra support. Most of them. Luke didn't care much--he was a BAMF. And I never once left him alone during fireworks so he never got stressed.

My dog is laying here quietly right now. Just waiting for the next boom. She is very scared of fireworks.

I had a dog that was very afraid of booms.
    Gunshots, thunder, fireworks.

Heard nothing last night; I guess I was too far from the city. Good night's sleep for the 540 miler I need today.

Haven't worked out in quite a while. I think this was in part to the stress and depression I was experiencing at Celadon towards the end. I'm starting to eyeball good spots again, and I think I may start slow in the near future since I've lost some tone and endurance. Last thing I need now is a training injury.

    TB John Thanks this.

On the next tire load, take them up on the driver unload part. That's a great workout.

Might just do that; only caveatis that I have to take it slow and if I'm overdoing it on a private workout I can just stop vs doing a driver unload I have to finish. Also this particular load is "NO DRIVER ASSIST NO LUMPER" per dispatch.

Did get in a brisk walk after arriving here though--can barely move my hips.

See you all in the morning!
