I'm baaaaaack!!!!!!!!

Daughter imploded, flunked out of school, blew her scholarship, waited til she was 24 hours from living in a box to say anything. We had to literally drop everything and scramble to get a place and a car, 3 months before I was ready to. Both deals fell through. Just as well, because the kid managed to mooch another month's rent from a different friend.

The Hot Chick scrapped her plans to go to school (for now) and I have another month or two to find a physical residence and a car (mind you, my credit is not repaired yet).

Daughter is scrambling herself to find some work to support herself as she knows what's coming if she moves under my roof--some tough love.

If she manages to find gainful employment I'm fine with that.

Moving to MS to be closer to the home terminal (more options for me) and for the much lower cost of living.

Starting over, again. At least I've got a pretty good job.

 

PS This is just an overview; there are many other factors that came into play so please save any criticism, just answering the general "What's going on" question for my friends out there

 

No offense meant to anybody; just kind of anticipating the trolls who lurk sometimes. I'm a bit raw from all this and maybe a little quick on the trigger-- sorry

 

Car and residence fell through, but we did get a mailbox near the terminal. On the prowl for a cheap vehicle. A place to live will actually be pretty easy once we have local transportation.
