Yeah, I much prefer the story lines and how faithful they are to the world our Mr. Butcher has built. Thought the series would make a fantastic anime series. If they put out the money to pay for the quality stuff, not the jumpy Saturday morning garbage you see on TV. Or even a 3D animated feature series based on the novels. If you look at the quality of the Final Fantasy movies or Captain Warlock, or even Zootopia or Kubo And The 2 Strings, you can see how great a franchise it could become. Probably get James Marsden to voice Dresden (he reads the audiobooks).
I'm baaaaaack!!!!!!!!

Me yesterday morning: I tried to make it work but I'm not going to be able to make it to receiver tomorrow. I'm not picking up any hours tonight. I'm sorry but if you want the load delivered on time you'll need to relay it.
Dispatch: Get as close as you can. We'll try to find somebody to get it.
Me: That will put me in the middle of nowhere for 34 hours. I'll be at the Little Rock terminal in a couple of hours; can you relay it there? Or if you want it closer I can get to Texarkana with no issues.
Dispatch: Little Rock terminal is perfect. Drop it there.
Me: Okay (Arrives, drops trailer, deposits bills, goes to sleep) (This is around noon)
Me: (2100hrs, yawn, goes to sleep)
Dispatch (2330hrs) Wake up and get that load in.
Me: I told you I can't do it legally. It was dispatched at over 60mph. Last 85 miles are on US routes at under 55 and through several small towns.
Dispatch: My computer shows you have time. You need to get that load in.
Me: (Politely) Go soak your head.
JUMP TO THIS MORNING
Dispatch: What happened? You need to move out.
Me: (Contemplating homicide) (Repeats story of impossible dispatch and trying to work it out anyway and being told to drop at yard and not having hours to make it to receiver)
Dispatch: I'll call you back.
Me: (Gets call from Big M adding me again about coming back, thinks about the four times I've been woke up by night dispatch) I'll call you back before lunch.
(Waiting to hear back from dispatch) -
Mmmmmmm......a dilemma. I can't wait to hear what you decide.

Is this the first time this has happened, or is this a nasty habit they have?
