I don't suppose that "shipper load and count-sealed load" carries any weight with the receiver? Man, swinging the doors open and seeing that half-assed securement would light my dynamite!

Stuck til tomorrow since I'm not going to restack all those pallets (back and knee issues) and they didn't have anybody til then. Will cost about $150 to do it all.

For the record it was live load and I installed the load straps myself, tightened them to D#.
The load was sealed by the shipper and I couldn't check it til this morning. Cue cussing fit. The straps were insignificant. These loads really should have air bags. There was another guy there who tossed his entire load. And the guy said they get several each week. Nobody seems to see a correlation. -

when i worked for food lion, i'd watched the yard jockies fly across rough pavement and almost turn over when turning on the lot. i know some of those tall pallets of dry groceries were turning over.so you never know where the load had a bad tumble...........lolCaptain Zoom Thanks this.
