    I mean this in no way a knock, but I envy you in someways. I've found myself resisting elogs and wanting to always be in a hood. In a strange way I almost wish I would just embrace the new age truck driver and go elog/ aero truck. And live the full lifestyle

    No worries.

    Some prefer large cars, I happen to like my aero. And in today's world mpg is everything. Elogs are a fact of life now, so I had to decide whether to adapt or leave the business. I've always been pretty FMCSA compliant so for me it was easy.

    I know a few guys with big hoods and loose leaf paper. They all acknowledge that the times, they are a-changin' (apologies to Mr. Dylan)

    I've been in this business 20 years and have fully embraced the age. In fact, I'm back with a paper log company and can honestly say that I miss elogs. Their supposed "limitations" never really had an adverse effect on me, and I kind of miss the ease and simplicity of driving without having to draw lines in a little book draped over the steering wheel.
