Super Trucker cut in front of me last night, parking in a no parking zone and preventing anybody from getting into the gate until he was processed and had pulled in.
Outside the gate, he griped incessantly about the rules, and made numerous rude comments about the clerk (today was his first time here). When the office opened, he was still pontificating about how he wouldn't take any of her #### as we waited to be seen.
Once in the office: (BIG smile) Well, good morning, ma'am, how are you doing this lovely day? Well of course I'll write my phone number on the bills for you! Yes ma'am, absolutely, I'll be sure to chock my wheels, safety comes first! And where would you like me to park while you are unloading me?
(These are all things he claimed nobody was going to make him do and he'd dump his trailer in the street before he tolerated anybody telling him how to do his job)
I was behind him in line. As I was processing into the receiver, the clerk (who recognized me as a regular) asked me if the guy really couldn't see the cameras in the staging areas. The cameras with audio. With live feed to her desk (the staging area isn't visible from her desk and that's the only way she knows if somebody comes in during the day--she can hear and see everything and can even talk back through a little speaker by the door).
Something tells me Super Trucker, who had vividly described what he would like to do to that clerk, will still be there when I leave.
He might be there when I get back next week.
This world is already full of ###holes. We got too many of those. Be a good guy.Jarhed1964, 48Packard, buddyd157 and 2 others Thank this. -
