American Furniture Manufacturing burned. Some 50,000 finished and in progress pieces of furniture slagged.

Nobody killed, one hurt (smoke inhalation).

They're expecting to start production again Monday.

 

We have been chosen by Sir Terrance Milquetoaste Fiddlesticks Fauntleroy to be his escort from the humane society to our new place in Ecru where His Nibs will make residence until he chooses to take possession of my Freightliner.

Took him out for walkies and he went to the corner of the yard to pee.

He'll make contented little grunting noises when he's happy.

And he snores.

He's very nonaggressive. He won't play tug of war (yet); he'll just wait til you're done with it then take it to his little corner he's claimed. (I think he might take to a crate)

He'd rather cuddle than wrestle.

The Hot Chick will be keeping him for a little while (needs a checkup and vaccinated--we have coupons to get that done for free)
