I'm baaaaaack!!!!!!!!

The Hot Chick had a great 34. She got a nice dinner and movie, a Vera Bradley handbag, a new pair of shoes, and another meal. Also some chocolate. It's her birthday tomorrow.

Also her period.

Don't laugh. I'm poorer but still alive.

 

Stopped at the Hook in Dallas to fuel, picked the lane behind a guy who is on a journey of discovery where he will learn to fuel his truck. The Hot Chick commented that even rookies should have had someone show them how to fuel up. Maybe I'll have time for my shower, maybe not. We'll see....

 

Gotta do 600 today before shutdown, can't start for another half hour, need to be shut down by 2030, need a shower and laundry, and the load is paper across SE mountains from Selma AL to London OH. And I still have to pick up the load. Something's gonna have to give. No shower or clean undies today...sigh.

 

If i won the lottery it would be a new Z06. I've just been running ragged trying to catch up after a delay a couple days ago cascaded on me 'cause I've been running so tight. Resulted in my first late with this company yesterday. Such a thing as running too tight....

 

Soooo...was sitting doing some admin chores with the windows open when a small bat flew in the window, lit on the visor, looked around for a second like, "What the f###!?" then hightailed it outta there. Total elapsed time: less than two seconds.

Thinking about buying that lottery ticket....😎
