Time to get back to reality. You hit a guy and left. You are pretty much done with that company. Hopefully you'll be able to find someone else to work for.

Were they the only company you were targeting? No pun intended! Get on with someone else your record may still be intact.

They won't return your calls which says a lot about a company and Western has a bad reputation by many drivers,so I would chalk this up as a bad trainer and find another company.Next time don't deck him no matter how mad he makes you, tell your company.Out of curiousity how far was your home from where this happened?

Take Chinatown's advice...Nobody..Nobody has the right to lay a hand on you....Let the law work for you this time. If your story is true ( not saying it isn't ) then not only is Western on the the hook...so is that idiot trainer. No reason for a trainer to lay a hand on you , even if you are having a disagreement.....when he does he's the one with the bigger problem. Now as to getting another job , it may come back on you , but you should be able to find work....but right now I'd be more concerned with what name I wanted to call my new trucking company...I would own Western...or at the very least a good portion of it. Ball is in your court.

He wanted you to run traffic lights and run 63 in a 45? I assume the rest of your story is very much embellished also. IMO you don't have the right mentality for the job.

Had this happened to me I think I would sue the company out of spite.During my carreer I sued 2.Companies get away with too much because drivers don't do anything. Then yet it happens to another driver and another. If you feel you're in the right and have evidence to prove your claim then do it for the truckers of America.

Back in the day I had trainers that wanted me to speed rather then drive the speed im most comfortable at.Alot of trainers are very impatient and think trainees should be driving at their level. So rather then finding fault with this guy, give him the benefit of the doubt and help him.

Sorry, but 63 in a 45 and don't stop for traffic lights. The doubt leans heavily in a direction that doesn't benefit the OP. I see a buy who's full of it and hot headed. Too many of them on the roads as is.
