i would have spray foamed the whole mess, sleeper included, get some good insulation value and strength.
I sure do like the job on the truck. I always thought if i get a new truck i am going to gut it and spray foam the whole thing then put back together,I am not impressed with the factory insulation.I wonder if you can foam the underside of the sleeper an cab from the out side with a closed cell foam or if the dot would call it a firer/safety hazard. I talked to an engineer at pete about it when i was locating some part.and he said they wouldn't have nothing to do with it to much work and time

You can use spray-in bed liner under the cab and sleeper. Still insulates and cuts the sound down and wont catch on fire or melt like foam. If you really wanted to, you could pull up the carpet/floor mats and pull all of the wall panels out and use it there to. I had a rattle trap car once and used it under the carpet and in the trunk. You wouldn't believe the sound that it cuts out.

Lizard skin is like bedliner but specially made to do around hot areas and deflect the heat.

Dynamat is the best choice, but gets costly.

You are going to MAKE your hubby trick out his truck? Oh that poor, poor man!:biggrin_2559:
(Wonder if he has any idea just how lucky he is! Most wives would be whining about how much was spent on that ride!)

Hahaha I would need all of the necessities if I go with him. Also I know he loves his truck and driving so I should get something out of the deal :biggrin_25525:
