Ive been meaning to bring this up...

    Yeah! What IP said....

Same thing for all you guys bad mouthing a particular nurses at Prime. Think about how many new hired she has to deal with each week. Don't think she doesn't catch attitude from the physical rejects and guys on hold for medical clearances. Not to mention the morons who can't follow simple directions

I'm willing to bet there was at least one moron in each of you guys orientation that you still chuckle at the thought of him.

I've had a couple minor in house medical visits and out patient surgical procedures... she is very funny and personable. God forbid one of you guys has to have a big chunk of skin removed for cancer spot and not have her there to talk to and distract you from the Doc while he carves up your shoulder and then stitches up the hole.

I've been known to pass out in such situations if I'm dwelling on what's going on with needles, blood, scalpel etc... I maintained conciousness and owe it all to her, and I've got a nice big scar to make up stories about "how I got stabbed in a bar brawl"

I've witnessed a few driver temper tantrums in her presence... Especially when they started the sleep apnea screening a few years back. I thought one guy was gonna stroke out... Red faced, screaming and pounding his fist against the door jam.

I don't envy her job one bit.

    silenteagle Thanks this.

You all can say all of the good things about that nurse, but she burned her bridge with me when she lied to me, then tried to intimidate me in front of the Doctor by saying that I was lying. Sorry, I am old enough and ugly enough to speak my mind about her, and her actions and words spoke volumes about her character that day. Maybe she treats drivers in the system different, but the way she treats incoming (who on that day were very quiet and cooperative) personnel is totally UNPROFESSIONAL and unacceptable. I am glad that several people have had a good experience with her, but once someone tries to use me to cover for their mistake, it's a done deal.

You previously stated you were sent home because you didn't know what meds you were on or in your system... and the Doc sent you home for clearances.

How is the nurse at fault for you being sent home? How is this the same issue?

i in no way stated that i didnt know what was in my system... i let my recruiter know in advance what i was on... still got sent there and sent home... i dont abuse meds and know what im taking and only take whats prescribed to me... the doc sent me home so i could have my Veterans doc take me off my meds and show that i can still function... i mainly mean to say that the nurse was rude... when i was in the Air Force i had slepp issues do to insomnia... i made the mistake of telling the doc that i had recieved a sleep study so he got P.O.ed at the nurse and she started being rude... i had made a mistake as i never recieved a sleep study and told the nurse and doc that and appologized... she only became more rude with me...
