This company has no morals at all LOL. I just caught a "gra-gar"mechanic lying his ### off to me.

Did i even mention that ive been here since friday to get a clutch? Clutch went out while i was dropping a load.

First of all, theres 3 mechanics, 1 truck in the bay, nobody doing anything at all.

I am in the drivers lounge which is upstairs in allentown. I checked at the shop since it was after 9 and I was told it would probably get in today..on friday. I just nicely asked, i never talked to the mechanics about the truck except for this morning, and tonight, and when i wrote the truck up on friday. Told me nobody is on night shift who can do clutches.

Also mentioned sending me to a dealer. Great.

Another mechanic came up here for something, theres a closet they keep going in for something. Probably where they keep their weed stashed. I thought he was a driver and told em what the shop told me, and hes like.."who told you that? Whats he look like?" and i told him and he started to say something and shut up and got out of there in a hurry. He told me without saying a word that that guy is a friggin liar.

I'm going to demand another truck in the morning. Even if i am puttin in notice (which im not doing until i get ahold of the other company and know FOR SURE!), i dont want to sit here the whole time.

It'll be monday in an hour. I'm going home on wednesday, its a 2 day drive, and I'm going home before the weekend. And if i dont get home until the weekend im staying home extra time because the whole point of going home on wednesday is to get my motorcycle skills test on wed or thur and get my license on thur or fri...and its an 8 hour job for a *good* mechanic to put in a clutch. So how do they propose to get me home?

These guys work like stereotypical union workers. Except....I'm pretty sure they arent any more union than i am!

Phroziac, what half-brained idiot sent you to Allentown to get anything done? That shop is actually worse than useless! Try getting ahold of breakdown, and see if you can find someone who will approve you going to a dealership to get the work done. See if Don is still there, he did a good job by me a few years back. Thanks to Don, I never took my rig into any of the yards for maintaince work. Actually, since I always found drivers who would "lend" me envelopes, and Werner sent my new permits to the house rather than dragging my dumb ##### to the yard, I never saw a terminal after I got my truck assignment. All about working the system, brah.

Breakdown sent me here. You know how useful breakdown is.

My truck wont start now. I think i damaged the batteries when the clutch first failed. Batteries been acting really weak after that.

It dont matter. It's cemented the reasons i am leaving the company. A few drivers quit over the weekend and unless they quit because of truck problems, im gonna see if i cant scam a truck so i can give notice and get a decent check.

I honestly believe the short bus rolls right past Omaha, and when HR needs more people, they run out and stop the bus, jump onboard, and bellow, "You, yes you! The window licker wearing the helmet! C'mon, we got a job for you!" If your truck won't start, I'd be screaming for a hotel room. Start raising hell, and see if that won't build a fire under somebody's #####. Werner works under the squeeky wheel policy. Get Squeeking!

Truck was attempted to be pulled into the shop at 11:15 pm, wont start, wont touch..

Weekends/nights staff likes to pawn me off on other departments especially ones that they know to be closed during certain hours too..

Figured it was time I offered my support for you. Two reasons I left Werner after 11 weeks, I never said anything in our PM's. The POS truck I had was #1. Secondly the low pay I got to enjoy on the Canada fleet.
I could put out a laundry list of truck problems that the good ol' boys at Gragar had no interest in.
At any rate, I do know of a company in Berrien county that wants drivers. PM me if you're interested.:biggrin_25525:

Of course. They are actually gonna spend money to fix the truck you had, so they have to move you to another POS truck so you can continue to make piss-poor money on the road. Besides, they've blown through your hometime, so it's time to get back on the road, steering wheel holder! Sorry about your trouble, Phoziac. If I still knew anybody of any use in Omaha, I'd called on your behalf. But I left about three years ago, and Werner goes through office staff faster than they go through drivers. Hard to believe, I know. But it's still true.
