this is tough drivers. I have been taking care of my wife for 2 weeks, she just turned 74, she brought home the COVID. I was checking on her every HOUR, Sometimes she was coughing right in my face. I didnt think of wearing a mask, she said its just a cold. Well, she was wrong. Just when she was up and walking the house, WHAM, it hit me, and i was in bed for 3 days. The feelings are horrible, constantly coughing. Energy low. She refused to get the Vaccine. She goes to Church on Wednesdays and events during the week. I was so afraid of giving her the virus, truck stops, warehouses, I got vaccinated phizer September, and Second one October. also Flu shot, 65+pnumonia shot. I hope this goes away soon.

I've had all three Moderna and follow all precautions. Live alone and don't really have any close friends or relatives nearby. So far, so good for myself. From what I hear, many seem to be bed-ridden or significantly weakened by any given variant. I've felt tired on days. But never really close to what you, or other have described. Stay safe, heal up, and let's all do what we got to do to get by.

I’ll call that one false. I have a nephew who smokes weed daily. He is down with Covid right now. But like you I think there is so much media BS floating around it s made this a whole lot worse than it would have.

Now, this came across the Google News feed, and I don't endorse or have an opinion either way, just one for the "what if" file. Very early on in this, I read a study claiming pot smokers could be immune to covid, because a chemical coats the lungs preventing the virus to form. Well, that was squelched pretty fast, and never heard anything again,,until now. Some "OSU" study seems to think so. There's a bunch of videos, sounded like media BS to me, but wouldn't THAT be something?

Well … ok … then tag the post and if there is a problem an administrator sees, they can edit the post without any problems from me but the entire Covid/sars-cov2/vaccine thing is all political and never was about the science which has killed thousands.

I’m not arguing about any of this Junk because I don’t care who gets vaccinated and who doesn’t etc. I don’t care and I don’t feel the Government has the right to force it on anyone…

That being said, I see so many quote things with sources and when I look thrm up I find it completely false. Maybe I am looking in the wrong place so please post up the facts about the vaccination to hospitalization rates…

this is what I found on CDC site in 3 minutes of looking… hospitalization rates are far higher for unvaccinated. Can you provide your info from CDC?

first thing fauchi, the cdc director and others in government lied from the start about all of this, and people listened to the misinformation from them and many died.

second a doctor and nurses duty is to try everything possible to save the patients life. My kid was dying, she was refused hospital care and we ended up going through a few doctors in a frantic state of finding one that would help and we found one out of an infectious disease practice who specialized in rare viruses. He was pissed (which isn’t the right term he would use) at doctors in the hospitals and private practice who were political and following the cdc guidelines and the wrong public health edicts over the patient’s care.

My kids new doc put her on high doses of vitamins, hydroxchloroquine and other drugs to get control of Covid, it worked. She recovered, has been giving plasma and blood to help others. We all had it, my wife was the other person who struggled with it, and like the rest in the house it felt like I had the flu. One of my employees was like my kid and he had the same doc who gave the same regiment of drugs and vitamins and he got on his feet quickly.

since that time we have been exposed to the Indian variant and just a couple weeks ago the South African variant - delta and omnicron respectively. The worst thing we had was flu like symptoms and that was it.

third the vaccine is not effective with the India strain, there is a term used in immunology when you get overloaded with a vaccine which escapes me, but what results are when the body does get exposed to the virus, the immune system becomes ineffective and starts to attack the body. So with the fact that nRNA vaccines never were used on humans in mass before, almost all the study data open to the public has been scrubbed along with the adverse events data illegally being withheld by the pharma companies and the fact that vaccinated people are going to the hospital at the rate 60% of all hospitalizations (source cdc), there is something very wrong.

a side note about hospitalizations, I have always said from the start the number of deaths are inflated, the cdc and forced a change in how death certificates and medical records are kept, they removed the requirements of using the words “with” and “from” from the record of death, so for example a guy died in a motorcycle accident, they tested him after he died and was found to test positive so according to his death certificate he died of Covid. A law suit that was filed against a hospital was for a guy who was shot and they out down he died of Covid because he tested positive.

My wife had to be vaccinated to work even though she works at home and never meets with patients directly (the company acts like Covid is spread through the Internet). So after digging into the actual data of the studies that are made public, she received the J&J vaccine - which her doc told her she was going to die if she got it (again her doc followed the political bs line about the vaccines - got to get the two part or you will die). She has to get a booster (again a work requirement) which got her so sick that she was out of work for a week, but after taking hydroxchloroquine and vitamins, she got back her feet.

speaking of strains, the south African strain is the sign this is dying out. No one has died from it, the media is hyping it up with a lie someone actually died from it. Even the SA researchers criticized others who like fauchi about their panicking the public and forcing more stupid public health edicts to stop it, it can’t be stopped or even mitigated because we hit herd immunity with delta abs this is a response to it, a last gasp before it becomes benign.

speaking of the approach to the SA strain, we in this country have gone way overboard, first off we needed to test people to see who had it and who didn’t before vaccinating those who didn’t have it. Those with natural immunity are in the best position to stop the virus, it is called herd immunity (that has always been between 65 and 72% of any given group) and always has been the best way to fight it. You don’t give a polio vaccine to someone who has polio so you don’t need to give a truly untested Covid vaccine to someone who has natural immunity, it causes what is called “breakout infections”.

Speaking of politics, Biden has botched all of this up, his administration and the government doctors like fauchi act as if this is their moment to make us subjects of their power. They have lied, trashed doctors who decided to actually go against the official information and politicized science.

what Biden did was cut off supplies to specific states solely based on political needs, to punish those in these states because of their government and who they voted for, it is too obvious and rather sickening. But the same goes for the entire government response from fauchi and the cdc, in olden times they would have been removed from their position because of their lies and contempt for our rights.

Curious what your company’s policy is if you OTR and come down with Covid. Six months ago when I caught Covid, I sent in a message, it was ignored and I kept driving. Lol other drivers I heard get the red carpet rolled out for them. Doctors, hotel, follow up care. Guess it just depends. Being on the road in dead of winter with the flu or Covid etc, can really stink

The CDC is a federal agency and has been a major clown through all of this as well. Even citing their data is foolish as they are corrupt too. This is why I myself will only accept what I see and hear from real people, both healthcare and Covid positive persons. Everything I have experienced and heard is the complete opposite of what’s reported and what most of the data shows.

I used to think the CDC was a good agency. I also used to think that the people in the “trust no-one” crowd were a bit crazy. After this Covid debacle and the last election I see clearly now.
