You ain't the only 1. My whole family has it right now. I'm the young one and it hit me harder than my 60 year old parents. My uncle is the one who gave it to us. His fever finally broke yesterday after going to almost 102. If it didn't we were dragging his stubborn ### to the ER but the fever went away as quick as it came

Okay, I don't mean to down play the virus, only a moron would take it lightly, BUT, the symptoms everyone seems to describe, cripes, in my life, I've had some really nasty flus, FOR A MONTH, hacking, fever, the whole magilla, why is this so unusual? 3 days? Big deal, like I say, I was sick for a month and that was 20 years ago. Now don't jump all over me, I DID get the original "Johnny 1 shot", and I doubt I'll get a booster, I don't interact with a lot of people, like say, on a NY subway, BUT,,,,could this be just a new innernet[sic] generated "crybaby" tactic, here's a startling fact, people have been dying for years, "natural causes" was the official cause of death. While it's too early to tell, I think someday our children will see what a farce this whole virus thing really was.

Take vitamin D3, Zinc, Quercatin, etc, get outside in the sunshine as much as possible. As others have said, take at least 1, if not 2, hot showers a day if you have the stamina to do it. Not only loosens up the sinuses, the skin is the largest organ of the human body, and that organ will have the virus on it, wash it off! Eat lots of vegetables, especially ‘root’ veggies, they are packed with minerals, eat at least an egg or 2 everyday, they loaded with vitamins, minerals, and healthy fats.

Why would you go to the hospital? It was that hard to breath?

Same. I believe I had it in Jan 2020. Felt like a severe case of flu. Had a cough that lingered for roughly two months after all other problems went away.

Wargames, mustang190 and 201 Thank this.

Here's to a quick recovery for you both.
The wife and I are on the fence for a Caribbean cruise the end of the month. We are both jabbed but the likelyhood high we will come down w the covid. We're fairly healthy but my biggest fear is that I will lose sense of smell and taste.

Ibuprofen and Gatorade is what worked for me. Covid loves acetaminophen. Hates ibuprofen.
Took me a month. Vaccine wasn't out yet but I'll be getting the booster. No way in heck I'm doing that fight again without it.

    Get well soon.

    Wargames Thanks this.

    I had it.
    Hospitalized for two weeks.
    Almost incubated. Should have been.
    Almost three months on oxygen.
The thing that helped me the most is deep breathing exercises. Breathe in like you are trying to inflate your stomach. Long, slow, gentle breaths. What you are trying to do is get air to the lower parts of your lungs. Two things cannot occupy the same space. You are forcing the mucus out with the air. Be prepared to cough alot while doing this. This worked when they were telling me I'd be on oxygen for years. Good luck to you.

I just got over the new variant. This is my 2nd time around. I was laying in bed for about a week the 1st time. This time it was only a few days.
