Im down, COVID

My grandfather was a surgeon. Grandma was a nurse. Thankfully they aren’t alive to experience the modern piss poor healthcare during this pandemic. Neighbor is a nurse and nurse manager for an in home healthcare company. Neighbor next to her is a nurse at our hospital across the street that just lost her husband due to Covid in same hospital. People talk and they tell the truth and it goes against everything that is publicized out of that awful hospital.

 

One more. We had a baby at Magee Women’s Hospital in Pittsburgh, April of 2020. Best day of my life but I couldn’t help but grill the doctors and nurses since that was during the great shutdown period. Amazing that what they were saying contradicted everything that was being reported even back then.

All of this was straight from the mouths of unbiased people in healthcare. I will put this above any articles or “ studies” that anyone wants to rant and rave about.


Oh yea, in August all 12 of my family members got Covid including my 16 month old son and 6 month old niece. That experience counts for something too.

 

If I would have spent 12 years in medical school to become a surgeon.

Depends on your experiences in life outside of med school.

 

Wife is fighting the tailend of it, her doc basically told her stay home unless youre dying, then go to an er..., that's the current "standard of care"

Pcps are pretty bloody useless

 

I know this is tough, but the vaccines won’t make her “not sick”. Have her follow all the over the counter measures people have posted in all the threads. You should as well. None of it will harm her. This isn’t a death sentence. And YOU need to stay positive or you can potentially go downhill.

 

Kind of makes you wonder why people are taking medical advice from politicians.

 

I assume it was a passive aggressive comment to us free thinkers who don’t take every word out of a doctors mouth as the gospel.
