    That's for sure Big D.
I doubt if anyone could have said it better. :biggrin_25512:
I reckon we can count on 123456 when the chips are down
to come through with words so profound.

A wise guy once said, "Before walkin' a mile in someone's shoes that aren't our's
    make sure they fit".
    :walk:_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
And, might I add, be certain they don't have athletic feet. :blob6:

    The silence is deafening.
    :offtheair:

Now, I'm off to climb the highest mountain to shout

:director2: :director:~~~ SOMETIMES WE SAY MORE WHEN WE SAY NOTHIN' AT ALL!
    (Can y'all hear me now?)

Ok Org, on a serious note come on back. It doesn't matter if you hate love it or already quit. We have all been there and done that and there is nothing you can tell us that a lot of us have either been through or heard a hundred times. On a side note you also have the opportunity to monetize your adventures with the audience you have developed here. I remember a few years ago when truckertwotimes said he was going to try a podcast.

Big Don, AfterShock, rayodeluz and 4 others Thank this.

Anybody think he decided this thread has been hijacked way too much and decided to let it go? :biggrin_2555:

Letting the thread go without a final word wouldn't be ORG's style. He's always kept us updated in the past no matter what. That said, enough time has passed to wonder whether or not he's done. He may be too embarrassed to say that, although there is no shame in it. Even if it didn't work out, he had more guts than most people to give up what he had and give it a shot. No matter what happens, at least he'll never wonder "what if I tried it?" Now he knows. It's still too early to pull the plug as ORG has proved us wrong before, but it doesn't look good. He has had plenty of time to post and he knows we've been here waiting. IF (and that's a big IF) he quit then my guess would be because of some kind of family problem. I can't see a him giving up so soon if he were single and unattached given his attitude.

He left me a voicemail two days ago and I called him and left one for him. He told me he has "something interesting" to tell me. Hmmmm....wonder what it can be?? It's been a bit tough to keep in touch with folks as I get sketchy cell service through much of WY and UT. But I have good signal here so it's catch up time....:biggrin_2559:

For those who are interested, ORG is doing well although I think he's a bit frustrated with the way Swift limits the miles on drivers. With that electronic logging, and the fact that if the truck even creeps above 65 and the driver doesn't hit the brakes to back it down, the truck sends a signal to Swift and the driver can get in trouble for it. As he told me, that can mke it rather difficult for making up lost time climbing hills and such. But he seems happy and I think that whole situation fits him pretty well. He doesn't care to push too hard and doesn't like driving at night too much so it would be tough to push for more than the 2500 mile average he gets now anyway. When I get in touch with him, I'll update you all with more info.

I don't really know why he hasn't posted yet. He can get on-line but I think he feels he's falling so far behind and has SO MUCH to tell that he can't get it all out there. I told him not to worry about all the "past deatils" and just pop in, say hello and update from now forward when he can. I can understand his view. So much happens in a week out here that even if you can get on-line every week it would be tough at best to describe it all.

But just to clear up all the "speculation" going on here, ORG IS running and no he hasn't quit. That wouldn't be his style. I just think he's learning and finding it tough to find the time to post. Being a newbie myself, I can understand that. There really is a span of time in the beginning where you're so focused on learning the comapny procedures and developing a "system" to streamline your time that posting (Especially the way ORG and I like to try and be detailed about it), has to take a back seat. Anyway, I'll call him in a few minutes and hopefully get hold of him.
