That seems like a really bad place to park a truck if you ask me...

You'll be living in someone else's truck for 4 weeks so keep it simple. Proper clothing is the most important thing. About 7 days worth should do it. As far as things like a phone and a computer, make sure you can fit it in one of your bags. A book would be a good thing to bring along assuming you like to read. You'll be on the top shelf, lol, so don't bring any unnecessary items along.

You're there to learn so don't treat it like a vacation. You'll be in your own truck before you know it.

Check out the threads about packing lists for students. There's a lot of good information there.

    Good luck.

I'm thinking something happened as well. It's getting close to 2 months since ORG has even signed in to TTR. Before that he was always on this site. He knows that he has a following here, that we want to hear from him, and that we don't expect much, even just a sentence saying everything is cool. No matter how busy he is, surely he could've found the minute or two it would´ve taken to post something in the past 2 months. For whatever reason, he has either chosen to abandon this board and site, or is unable to post. Hope he's still happy with his decision to pursue this career, but I really have to say that his silence has given me more doubts than ever.

To some people trucking has left a very bad taste in their mouth! If something went south with ORG he may just be fed up with the whole scene! Sometimes it can make you feel like a failure or that you couldn't handle it. He had a lot of high hopes and dreams in pursuing this whole endeavor if for some reason it did not work out he might be pretty crushed. If that's is the case I am sure he may feel quite embarrassed. Though he shouldn't. We may not hear from him again but he may still read some posts from time to time. Good luck ORG!

That's what I'm thinking. It maybe that he wanted this so badly that he didn't really take into consideration the impact of all the negatives even though he was well aware of them. I'm as guilty of this as anyone with some things I've tried to do in life, and I don't think there's a person alive who hasn't looked at a potentially difficult situation through rose-colored glasses at some point in life. Whatever happens, I wish you luck ORG. And if it doesn´t work out for whatever reason, just remember that isn't a failure. The only failure would've been in not having tried to pursue your dream when you had the chance. You did that, and that's more than most people do in life. As far as I'm concerned, you succeeded regardless of the outcome.

    Hey guys
This is from 2 weeks ago so I don't think ORG bailed or anything- I think he is just that busy. Seems like alot of people that were on here ''alot'' over the time have disappeared too- sometimes TTR fits your life and sometimes your life fits TTR.
