It would have been nice to see a picture of the horizontal 102 inch whip on the back of the cab. I can't feature there being enough room between the cab and trailer for that long of an antenna. Maybe they hooked the ground of the coax only to the horizontal antennas mount, and used a so239 tee to tap into the dual antennas? If they were using that horizontal antenna as a ground plane, I don't think that would work. But it would be fun to play with using an analyzer.
