I'm Rollin With Swift

Good to see there is Happy drivers at Swift after reading Ever where on here and other places Swift sucks I was so unsure who to go with I am set up with Trans Am but I would rather go with Swift.

Suppose to get a answer from Swift tomorrow but I have kept my orientation date at TA for back if it's a no at Swift, I have a marijuana poss charge from 14 yes ago and they had to do a investigation but said should be a problem and TA did one and I am clean no record at all.

I hope they take me I am suppose to leave for TA on Tuesday I will turn them down if Swift takes me.

 

You know, on the forums we all read, there are probably only a couple hundred (if that many) participants, many of which are not active drivers, like me. When you consider that Swift has 16,000 drivers, one has to think the company has to have enough good things to keep 16,000 folks on the road.

It's my #2, after Stevens. Ooops...probably shouldn't say that in a Swift forum!

 

I've heard Stevens is a great training company. Swifts reputation is widely known but lately like jb hunt they seem to be under the "bad actor" radar. Which tells me things must be getting better there. I have never and never plan on driving for them so my opinion could be wayyy off

 

I am considering swift. Do they cater more to teams than solo's like most companies?

Yup Swift has online practice tests. Read the threads and you'll see for yourself. I think its for the permit.

 

Cater? I don't think I would call it that. A solo driver who shows he is willing to work will generally not sit a whole lot. Although it does happen on occasion. I have heard that teams get preference on loads, but I didn't experience it first hand myself. Maybe they get it on longer loads. They kept me busy as a company solo.
