good move re: baltimore to phx. I wish you well, bring your tools, and yes bring your CB you will get lost from time to time the CB can help you get around in most dire situations. Also, ignores the a-holes on the road that harass you for doing 62mph since you are governed in your truck, for you will see them 10 minutes later at the truck stop eating slim jims stuffing their fat faces, only to realize that you saved gas whereas they burned gas getting to the same destination. Good luck:yes2557:

Thanks I'm looking forward to it. How long do you have to be with a trainer?

50 hours one on one training and then 190 hours team, so it comes down to about 7 weeks. Its intense but fun. You learn a lot in this period.

In your opinion what's a better route, trucking school or company training? I've been waiting since 14 and these last month and a half is killing me. Lol Im so ready to get out in the world. I only have a cell phone bill and school loan so no other bills to pay I'm ready to start working and saving.

Would highly recommend a non profit school training program, or a program like company sponsered training where they reimburse you. Don't go to the for profit programs that charge 9k for a tuition, it is a rip off and unfair. A cdl should cost you 3500 to 4000 or less. If you can get your permit and find someone who can show you the backup skills, turning, shifting etc.
