I have never had any trouble at Smithfields. They always have me ready close to the time they tell me its will be ready.

i think my worst for time was the meat place in tarheel nc. might have been smithfield cant recall and it was tied with nastiest place as well. the other nasty place was the chicken goo place in dothan al on a nice summer day.

The Smithfield plant in Smithfield VA is worse than the one in Tar Heel. By far the worst chicken houses are anything that Pilgrim's Pride owns. The IBP locations in Nebraska - Schyler especially, and National in Dodge City are my top locations for worst beef plants... the trailer yards are dirt, and it just plain gets ugly when it turns to a sea of mud.
BTW, have you ever run through Hereford TX? The stench from the miles and miles of feedlots will flaten a buzzard a mile off on a hot day. -

Picked my load up in Grand Island. Apt was for 1800. Was ready at 2000 4 stops not too bad for all those stops. Also like the fact that they have poured concrete and no more moon craters and dust storms. They even bring the trailer to you. Look forward to coming back. Oh have I said How much I love Reefers
