Apply to Stevens Transport and/or Millis Transfer right now and ask for a pre-hire.
Companies will pre-hire you contingent on successfully completing cdl school and having any required endorsements.
This way, you can start work the day you graduate.

If you relocate to Philly you may become their Northeast driver since almost everyone in the industry HATES driving in the northeast US. I would jump off a bridge before I took a job driving big trucks in the northeast. I spent 28 yeasr in trucking until I retired and visited 48 states and 2 provinces in Canada. There is almost zero truck parking anywhere in the northeast US and the cops hassle trucks for everything.

Also, never ever work for CR England. They may be the worst company in the industry and nothing the recruiter or the web site say to you should be trusted. They are the only company putting 3 people in one training truck. Imagine you and 2 friends living in a small motel bathroom for 1-3 weeks. Not the hotel room, the hotel bathroom, except it has no toilet or shower and it never stops running over potholes and someone is ALWAYS snoring. Only consider W-2 type driving jobs, not 1099 and not lease-operator jobs that will both claim you can make much more money, except those claims are false and they mostly hire clueless newbies who don't know any better than to volunteer to pay the truck expenses so the trucking company doesn't have to. W-2 or company driver jobs should be your onyl option. It's pretty silly to put a type of haircut above a good job, but you do you. Hair will grow back, it's just hair right?

Carlisle Pennsylvania is an excellent trucker town about 2 hours west of Philly on the turnpike. I used to run out of there and anytime I wanted to go to Philly Enterprise rental car would come pick me up.

It is, but I'll be dammed if I take a 10 hr break at those truck stops there, especially the Love's and Flying J.

I don't think Millis runs to West Coast, unless that's changed. If you want coast-to-coast runs Stevens would be the ticket for that.
