Even though your smart ### comment is very impressive, ss an immigrant myself, I can assure you, that the absolute majority of immigrants get their first job through their own people. Indian through Indian, Mexican through Mexican, Russian through Russian and so on (besides those who already come here with a work visa)

I promise you that NOTHING about my comment was meant to be derogatory or smart alec! It's a sincere thank you, it's an avenue i hadnt considered... (North American Punjabi Trucking Association is REAL too, look it up!) I can see you being skeptical since compliments are hard to come by in this world... I only wanted to thank you for a great idea that legitimately worked out for a new driver!

Where did you find that organization? That's good information.
Looked it up and see they also have a Facebook page.
I'll put all that in my notes.

Here's the trick... I have at least an 8 hr day at a desk and my curiosity was piqued lol... Dune made the suggestion to steer into his community and then it was google and I trying to find somewhere that I could capture a large Indian population in one place where I could basically beg for work. For your future reference they IMMEDIATELY offered 2 leads, I called 1 and never had to get to the second! .60 CPM ATL to CA, drop/hook & return!! He'll be teamed for the 1st few weeks, evaluated and then solo... DM for company if you ever need to know.

Why would foreigners of a particular race/ethnicity expect to be exempt from ELD ?

That's one reason some gliders are so in demand.
I read somewhere that gliders may be a thing of the past because of that. Don't know if that's fact or rumor though.
