Oh brother...what a qualifier....nice try, but get your material from a better source than imitating VP Biden!
you sound like a lot of trainers out there, hot headed and in it for all the wrong reasons. They do it for a sense of control and authority, as opposed to doing it to help others and be patient. Back when i started out with schneider i had some fat bull headed ####### trainer who was in it purely for the $ and sense of authority (which judging by his #### social skills he had very little of in his life). Taught absolutely nothing of value and would only say something if it was to piss and moan. i was very low maintenance, barelyk said #### and was already a relatively good driver. i chose to grit my teeth to get through the process and on my own. Years later i look back and laugh at what a sorry pos he was, and.how awful his advice was. ill never forget watching him try to hit a tight hole at.a pilot and after 30 minutes of inching back and forth he pulled out of the place siren red and steaming. I think thats a big part of the high turnover rate, to many "my way or the highway look at me i got a.trainer badge let me be overly combative" trainers and not enough patient knowledgeable ones who do it for the satisfaction of teaching the ways of the road.
Amen to all that and more! I've been with Prime for going on a year now and I absolutely love it here... It is a great company with lots of great people. As with any business entity of this magnitude unfortunately there are also some people that are not so great and worse yet... I am going to be a CDL instructor in February, any tips? I've been driving for close to 3 years but I still have alot to learn!
