    I never said ALL companies will not take the risk.. I said that it is only a FEW that are willing to take the risk.

    Those that take the risk are morons and are not looking at generating revenue for the long term.

    And no way in hell is "Running Illegal" a directive from Share holders ...

    Agreed their are some Dispatchers/Planners that TRY to make a driver run illegal. But most companies will either Re-Train them or Replace them once they find out who they are ... I have seen it happen a few times.

    I can tell you that I've gotten very few of those types of loads since switching DMs. Now I simply say "don't you think 1800 miles in 2.5 days on rollover HOS might be pushing it in winter over 4 mountain passes"? My "go home" load combo was LA to Salt Lake, Salt Lake to Bellingham, WA with 3 stops in WA.. Um... No.
