Shoot, I remember going through Hooker, OK and seeing every cop in town behind an SUV with California tags tearing it apart while two urban looking fellas were sitting on the curb. Sometimes it's all you got!

"Urban-looking fellows" LMAO! Arrested for DWB, huh?
superpet39 Thanks this. -
I'd fight it, I think the rookie was trying to make a name for himself, Well he did "Crash!!" I wouldn't worry about how it effects your process it sounds like you have a system in place where you can roll on your own, I'd go for it, I will need a small inheritance once you reach 10 trucks and you are looking at a revenue of over a million a year!! In the mean time I will be right here making my own means. Be Safe.
truckman29801 Thanks this. -
That us funny that the officer got ticketed. It will take the officer years to live this down
-
now you can really make the cops year , make a you tube video about him loltruckman29801 Thanks this. -
Rule 1. Cops are never wrong. Rule 2. If you make an enemy of one there is not enough money on this planet to make them get off your donkey. Rule 3. The cop is a bigger Idiot than you will ever be. Was his name Barney by chance?
Hammer166 and truckman29801 Thank this. -
I wouldnt fight it. Maybe show up to court and see if the cop doesnt show up, to get out of it. Get supervision......... If you let the truck roll, you lost control. Not saying the cop was doing a smart thing by being right on top of ya. Im from COOK county they might just throw a lot things at you to get even, you never know.

The cop was dumb but it's still your fault. You can try talking to the DA or judge and see if they can drop the points, after all thats whats going to hurt in the future. It's not going to effect you getting your cdl (unless you do it again on the test)but it may effect your insurance rates.

Go get your CDL. It's no biggie. But you are far from experienced. Come back here and post in 5 years and you will agree with me. Don't get the big head too early. Over confidence has got many. You are about to learn some advanced driving skills you never thought of. Then you have to perfect them.

Any real trucker could have fun for days with this. In the intrest of your age, I will keep quiet. I won't say he was trying to "frost" his do nut. I'll shut up now.
