I don't use my signal to change lanes when driving my car. It encourages road rage.

LOL it seems it does. You turn a blinker on, they try their best to keep you from getting over.

Yep. Drivers in El Paso are notorious for that.I have my mirrors set to where I just have to take a quick glance because turning your head to look in the mirror is enough for a soccer mom in her Expedition or lifted F series driving tribal tattoo sporting guy with pencil wick syndrome to attempt to cut you off.

That sure is costly to fight it .If SanAntonio doesn t make deals with cdl holders why fight it then or did your lawyer mean get it reduced?

I guess San Antonio municpal passed a law in 2003 that barred CDL holders from taking plea deals or reducing tickets to non moving violations. Thus my only course of action is to either A) pay the fine and take the conviction and keep my nose clean for three years, or B) pay an attorney to take it to trial and hope for a dismissal.

I have a feeling that lawyer was fishing for business.

I'd say that might be worth going to court over.

Probably reduced but I seriously doubt that's true. Most courts will want to reduce their potential workload so plea bargaining a citation down so it doesn't cost the municipality any more money than necessary.

They do. Get a ticket in Texas and your mailbox gets stuffed from every traffic lawyer in town. Hell they know it before it even posts on the city/county website.
