    And if the idiot in question is caught driving erratically in a big truck, then I wholeheartedly agree with the increased penalties.

    That should revert when in a four wheeler though. Passing feel-good laws on the basis of mistaken assumptions is crap. Just my .02.

    But it isn't really higher fines. It's an absence of the prosecutor or judge being able to change the infraction to something else.

    Why would you drive differently in a car than a truck? The laws are applied the same. Good driving become habits just like bad habits.

    It's been ten years since i hit the slopes. My knees and ankles just can't handle it anymore. A day of skiing makes a week of limping in agony.

    I hear ya driver. Its a young persons sport. I've been at it over 40 yrs and am thankful for every season at my age. Just got a new pair of race skis and tried them out yesterday. Now back to trucking.
