You would think the manufacturer of those labels would have some kind of spell check prior to printing.
"trailor"????
-
I did not even notice that...
most of the time I do not even eyeball my own spelling - let alone my own grammar.
I am one of those 300 mph typist who take errors in stride! -
It's one thing to not care about spelling or grammar on a forum such as this, but when you're mass producing something in print one should be at a higher standard.
-
Nice pics Latanea, I imagine being in that Volvo is nicer than some of the daycabs Big R has got!
And come on Scarecrow, you're asking for too high a standard from that sticker manufacturer- only one letter wrong is close enough englis for most! (LOL!) -
You're right, Wallbanger. What was I thinking??
-
Hey Crow, at least you are thinking! That sticker is pitiful; if you're going to put them everywhere (to keep the lawyers happy), then they should be checked. It seems lately that thanks to spellcheck, no one proof reads anything anymore, and as a result, you have written pieces that make no #### sense whatsoever.
Either that or it was written by someone with little to no knowledge of the English language! -
It was probably a combination of both, after all that is a Volvo in the picture.
-
yeah they are "nice" - but with the DE12 motor - they are weak weak weak... -
LOL - is that like the brainless cashier who, if it weren't for a computer telling him or her what the amount of change should be when given a $20 for a $15.67 purchase - would be dead in the water without it?
I don't use spellcheck just for the reason that I don't WANT a computer doing EVERYTHING for me - at least keep SOME sense of sanity here!
