yep, most of the Canada only drivers are H&R, worst decision IHaul ever made was keeping anyone from H&R (Drivers, Most Staff). Like I mentioned, the turnover has sky rocketed, along with the crashes and safety violations. I think from 2010-2019 IHaul only had 4 crashes total. Now after the merger, it’s 4 crashes a month, sometimes a week, mostly the Canada only fleet in BC and Ontario.

That sounds great, but with those driver facing cameras makes them absolutely undesirable. Have you heard are they keeping that up? Or are drivers quitting on them?

The turnover rate is 36% in 6mo as of Today. The cameras are here to stay, ICBC demands it.

ICBC is a joke. One of many reasons I'll never move back to BC.

but hold on, Challanger has a base in Abby and they say their cameras are only on sides and facing traffic, not on the driver. They're in Abby so should be bound to ICBC regulation. Hmmmm... plot thickens.

All of challengers trucks are insured in Ontario, Bison are insured in Manitoba and TransX are insured in Manitoba so no MANDATORY Cameras. IHaul is 100% insured in BC, thus has cameras facing the drivers. Just how it is, when dealing with ICBC.

I will give IHaul this tho, the Cameras they have are Garmin, and you need a court order to see the footage. They 100% are not real time accessible, and post incident footage needs a court order to be released.

Yea, IHaul offered me a discount on insurance, but it would be thru ICBC. I politely declined, and told them I’m quite happy with my AB plates and insurance, even if it cost more.
