Right, that makes sense, I rethought that statement after posting and of course Challenger is Ontario based therefore ON plates. Ok so that means no working for BC based companies. I'm just disheartened how so many drivers are willing to go along with new abuses. It's like no one's got balls to make a stand anymore. Impotent men. Horrible. I call for a riot until we get the power back. Province wide strike ... ahhh who am I kidding, no one can understand eachother anyway, half the drivers don't speak english

yes, because they choose to, they are not mandatory in ALL trucks as per MPI. Right now “select” Bison trucks have the “Guardian” system we discussed earlier, but I foresee them having it in all trucks in a few years. Again, their choosing, not the insurance companies.

The reality of the situation is this, there are enough pre-vetted drivers overseas, that if there were to be a strike. The government could issue enough Visas to replace every driver in Canada 3 times over. I know a lady who works in International Recruitment for Bison, and she has a roster of 3500 ready to go; that’s every Co Driver at Bison.

Very nice, so in case we try to make a squeak they've got mercenaries ready to go. I'm curious however how many of those pre-vetted will be allowed to cross into USA? I don't know the details of the imported worker program, if they get full access to North America or only Canada. Either way, we're toast. System is stacked against us.

All they need, is a PR card, or an H2B Work Permit; truck in the US all you want. Pending you can pass a background check/drug test etc etc.

Yea Idk man, OTR in Canada seems like its going to be non-Canadian team only in the next 5 years. I'm looking into contracting to UPS/FedEx/XPO/Estes/ABF, as they seem to be a little more picky who they use (well not FedEx Freight lol). However, my main plan is just to stick with IHaul, cause they have some great lanes, and they treat me really good. Sometimes that's worth a lot, they also pay the best, compared to any of other my other driving/contracting/ABL gigs.

Right. Check the logic on this. So instead of increasing training and wages that attract local citizens, they'll import mercenary drivers to continue their abuses. By this token they can replace majority of the population. Can't find enough bakers to work for minimum wage? Import more slaves! What a concept. I'm telling you if we don't do something about this there won't be much of a Canada left. They are purposefully displacing the population in favor of their own coffers, selling out our national identity and community for a profit. That right there is treason to me.

I'd go to iHaul but they gotta dismount them driver facing cameras. Gonna run for an out-of-province outfit I guess since ICBC is mandating surveillance in favor of rates.

Dude, this has been happening since 1980, it's already WAY to late. I mean, entire industries have already been taken over, and you can't say anything about it or "racist".

Besides, Trudeau says there isn't any such thing as a "Canadian" anyway, Global Citizen, etc etc.

The whole country will have camera's in 5 years, the NDP in Alberta and soon federally will be calling for "nationalization" of insurance. SO ICBC everywhere!
