We have had drivers cleared and convicted by cameras.
But what they do is show what happened. The hardest thing to prove with "eye witness" testimony. We have good enough drivers that 99.999% we are in the right.

I agree and have no problems with front cams. But no way Can a lack of a driver cam hurt the driver. Small chance it will hurt him.
If a front cam shows the driver was at fault then it t doesn’t matter imo. If driver is not at fault then let the driver keep their mouth shut and point to front cam -
Yep...drivers and workers as a whole should look out for themsleves more now than anytime before...you can ONLY be so loyal to a company because they will only be loyal enough to use you...goes for any co out here anymore...

Would it be possible for them to mount cameras completely surrounding the driver? Left wall, right wall, floor pointed up, ceiling pointed down? That would rule!
-
As long as it is front facing...some one clobbers you on the sides...drivers fault.

Does your company have terminals in Central Texas? I have Hazmat/Tanker and would love regional work.

We,ve had close to 2,000 drivers leave the company in the past 12 months. Plenty of openings in every state! Cameras? Hard break, or rock your truck 4 inches side to side, driver facing camera is auto activated, believe it or not!
