Heres my Protech. It's okay, not nearly the quality of all my Iconic boxes.
I like being able to walk on it, but it's not flush, so gotta watch your step. Any extra storage for me is great. Just filled it with my chains for the winter season.

Do you have to chain very often, seems like that would be a pain keeping them in a box like that. I used to when I was running otr down south, but I never intended to use them either. lol

Once last year, this will be my first winter with an open deck. I do my best to stay out of the snow. I'm fine with it, but its like a full moon, just makes everyone else stupid. That's exactly why they go in that particular box. I never use that box, but I walk on it everyday.

I have 2 60" side boxes on the trailer, my headache rack, and my side box on the truck. 20190529_192253.jpg 20190712_131826.jpg

Ok, yea, I never chained down south, I take it back, I had to chain once for snoqualamie, only because they had the chain law up, I didn't need to chain and hated running my chains on the pavement.
I have to chain here on a regular basis and have chain racks built so I can get it done in 5 minutes or less, so straightening out the chains.

    D.Tibbitt and FerrissWheel Thank this.

I love those Iconic cabinets. If I ever have to give up my side boxes and go back to having a headache rack I'll be trying to find one of those. I've had a 3 door and it sucks working around the doors all the time.

Oh God yea, if I used them often I would need something more readily accessible. LOL Snoqualamie is the one time last winter, well it was when they closed it after getting 78 inches in 2 days. I tried to go down to Portland from Spokane and back up and got stuck on 84 for about 22 hours because idiots kept trying to run without chains.

It was well worth the wait for it( 3 months). I cant imagine having to deal with doors being in the way. I have the 16", and they go up to 22 or 24 deep.
