If your into awesome mexican food theres a fast food (Albertos) one block down from the In-N-Out right at the light with lots of street parkin for trks .They serve huge burritos and a Loaded nacho plated with carne asada (like 3 pounds of food) for 7 bucks.

How do you find places to park? i am petrified to venture off the beaten path in my truck, because if i didn't have bad luck i'd have no luck at all... how do you find things like that? (in-n-out with truck parking)

Look around the joints, There is always a turn around, you may just have to go a mile or so, Just pull thru the old gas station, be sure to watch for signs that say "No Thru Trucks" That pretty much tells you the roads are getting narrow and that you are going to get stuck.

There is a new In N Out at Santa Nella. There is truck parking there. Barstow also.

I haven't seen an In n Out that had official truck parking, but the one I listed was on a culdesec that you could use to turn around after you parked next to the curb

I've rarely met someone who didn't like In n Out. Growing up in So Cal, I didn't eat there all the time, but when you move away and can't have it. It makes you want it more. Maybe it's nostalgia... How can you explain why you like how something tastes. It's like music. You either like it or not. So I have several places like In n Out, and El Pollo Loco that I look for when coming to the Southwest... I have an In n Out Tshirt and people come up to me all the time saying how they love that place. To each his own I guess.Cowboyrich and Big Don Thank this.

It is called PRE-PLAN! And there are things that can help you. If you have internet availability, you can go to Google Earth and get a close up of where you will want to go. This was not available when I was OTR, but it WAS when I was local P & D. I used the heck out of it if I didn't know a particular stop. In most cases, you can even get "on the ground imagery." One thing it won't do is tell you restricted areas though.
I couldn't agree more as far as Kripsy Kreame is Koncerned. They aren't even good, let alone "wonderful." You just can't compare donuts delivered to convenience stores by truck, to fresh baked donuts at your local grocery store.
But I do like the In-N-Out!
Heh, heh! We have a crazy chicken right across the street from In-N-Out. I love the taste of the chicken from El Pollo Loco, but I think it is over priced for the size of the portions they give you. I grew to love EPL when I was living near El Centro, CA. Then (sigh) spent many years where it just wasn't available. Now that it is, I'm complaining about price. . .go figure
