One world has a yard behind the Detroiter and they will run you from there to Ohio or Indiana. day cab work. pay per mile, not the highest in town, but the work is easy and they require little to no experience. friend of mine works for them from the Canadian terminal and drops trailers there. it is mostly drop and hook.
In need of work

I've said it before; I'll say it again: @MACK E-6 - China, own forum. China's Corner, or some other quippy phrase which indicates that: this is the guy with the company info.
I also hope @x1Heavy writes a book. But that's a story (rant) for another time. -
I know exactly where the Detroiter is. If the one company is behind that facility, I think it's awesome.
Ive been going to the Detroiter for like 30 years and could not ask for a better eating place and parking where necessary.
I also recall a McKesson Distribution south side of Detriot where they run small hopalong vans to deliver a few pallets at a time into hospitals. and such.
As far as the book, Self publishing is around 4000 dollars all told. I don't think enough copies will sell
It won't take much to say build a work of fiction for children based on I can fly for trucking It's getting harder to find living locations in situ where they have the same enviuronment, food etc for 40+ years if not outright dating to world war one. -
Just tolerate a ton of questions - minds-eye to lyric can be tough to mash.... but you're colorful.
I think the hardest part would prob be getting drivers to read... ####, most of them don't even read signs.... *sigh*x1Heavy Thanks this. -
Kamil there are a lot of companies looking for drivers around here, I would make a list of companies that are in Taylor, Dearborn, Romulus and a few others cities, then go visit them. Don't ask if they have openings, ask for an application and fill it out. You can also try a temp agency in Dearborn and fourteenth avenue who haul containers.

MTS might hire you
But don't take that as a recommendation.
