Incorporation??

Time for a new cpa in my opinion. The tax savings alone is worth it. My dad is a one truck show and he wishes he'd done it 30 hrs ago. I talked him into it about 7 yrs back.

 

The only time it's not worth it is when you don't earn more than the low, but reasonable salary you will pay yourself. But if that's all you intend to earn, why be in business anyway?

 

I think you guys over complicate the simple.

 

It is a little more complicated but for the 10 to 12k per year I save in taxes it has been worth it. For 3 years before I did it my accountant was showing me how much I would save if I were inc and I kept resisting, mainly because I was building my house and needed to show the income for the const loan. When all of that was done I inc and started saving that on taxes, now that I have added another driver it has actually made it easier on me.
