May have been, that is why I have to run a few weeks before I can confirm any of it. This is all the stuff that I had heard from other drivers on the yard while I was there. I will let you know though!

Beware of the blue smoke coming out of those drivers it will hypnotize you into believing all their talk.

Our team is one of the more senior teams and I don't mean in ago though I feel so some days. We have been a team here for over a year and a half and I was solo here for over four years prior. Priority dispatch is dispatch only. You will be dispatched, usually, before solo drivers PROVIDING it isn't in front of the few very senior drivers that have been here. You get absolutly no special treatment at the customers either loading or unloading nor at the washes. You are just another truck to them. Three of our last four runs are a good example. First run we sat 16 hours for a 375 mile run. Next we sat 24 hours for a 1300 mile run just to sit an additional 26 hours go get unloaded. Loads are designed for solo drivers in the system and many customers will not take you a day early unless they really need the product. Compounding this is most runs are less than 1000 miles or barely over. As far as drop and hook I'm sorry to burst your bubble on that as well. That is usually at the Winter Haven yard and only when local drivers are able to keep up. We have live loaded much more often than not in Winter Haven and have never dropped and hooked in CA or NM terminals. The shameful thing is there is a good bit of freight moving coast to coast but teams see little of it and it is also seasonal to boot. 6000 plus mile weeks are a unicorn and more so now. 5000 mile weeks are more realistic and even that as scarce of late. Freight is unusually slow right now coast to coast. I have spoken with two if the three terminal managers and no one can put a finger on it. I'm not saying you won't make money. I am saying it's not as rosey as you appear to believe. Last year I net 65k and was set to do better this year but this last month as been a bust and no concrete end in sight. I have never seen a September this slow in this specialized market. Usually Sept till the holidays we cant keep up. Now it's pray to pay the bills. Hopefully it will change soon. Best of luck.

    To Rugerfan

Routing is at your discretion. Just pick it up and get it there safe. No pre pass or ez pass unless you are a team. There are 46 TA/Petro locations and 10 FlyJ Pilot locations across the country to use for full fueling and the remainder FlyJ/Pilot locations for 44 gallons. Sounds strange but works just fine.
