Irt paid a lot of money to pump customers silos out for contamination. It was a bonehead move.

Did you do any real research before making the jump. Maybe if you had talked to some of there drivers and done a little research you wouldn't be regretting your decision.

That sucks! At least when I drove Bynum for one, we'd get detention pay, yea like after 3 hours. Lol. Everytime I would call in for any issue I would get treated with respect. Oh yeah, hardly ever sat either. Shoot! Sometimes I had to beg for a 34 hour reset.

I just found this site researching IRT while I finish my break. I've been here 5 weeks and only missed 3k miles on week 1 and my home time. I usually sit at shippers and receivers for 2 to 4 hours if it's not a drop and hook. I just split my sleeper if need be. Most of the customers I have been to will take the product early. I've noticed, with a few exceptions that these appointment times aren't really set in stone.

As far as dispatch goes, it just takes a little time to figure out who does which region and ask for them. I am normally preplanned for my next load before I am empty because I call them about half a day before I deliver.

I'd like more money and get out west a little more, but I have been doing alright. So far I like it.
