What terminal are you out of? Are you mainly running east coast?

Winter Haven. I run the east a lot but find myself getting a CA run once a month. Once Winter Haven drivers get there, the Turlock terminal gets you back east as soon as they can. In fact, I just completed a Visalia, CA to Bartow, FL run. They have regional though if one prefers to stay in a particular area.

I called and they said 80% of the time you would be east coast. I live in Fl too, prefer to stay out west and the recruiter told me that wasn't possible.

This has not been my experience really. I would assume she is including the busy juice season in her estimates, which will keep us Winter Haven drivers pulling oj out of FL in the winter months.

We don't go to NYC. Go to Jersey pretty regularly but the places I have been to are easy in, easy out, and right off the turnpike for the most part. Short trailers and low profile trucks makes life in the NE a little easier.

    xlsdraw and Evomalo Thank this.

I drove for IRT back in 2012. Been off work since Nov. '14 with a knee injury. Be ready to drive soon. I was out of Turlock running the 5. I may be calling them but think I may go OTR. Great trucks and they do not micro manage you. I enjoyed my time. Tanks are the way to go!

Spoke to IRT today. I live close to their terminal in Fl. They said mostly running Midwest to NE runs. No thanks. I always thought these folks were long haul. I guess not.

They said they're fixing to open a terminal in PA. They can recruit Midwest-NE runners from up there.
