I have a Galaxy 929 and a president plus both fit in the spot if you have any issues the guys in the shop have some tricks to make a little more room behind the CB if needed.

 

Can’t ya just mount your CB on top of the dash?

 

I'm not sure if they allow it, plus if there's a cubby then why not use it.

 

You have power, antenna connection, and hold down in the upper cubby hole. And on the larger radios some people will trim the plastic cover I left mine stock.

 

I have a question for any of you other drivers that have a NextGen truck. Do you have a squeak that comes from the passenger side behind the seat somewhere? Sounds like it's honestly coming from around the cabinet area but it only makes the noise while I'm driving and I can't ever figure out where it's coming from but it's driving me nuts

 

Check the passenger door some rub I put some grease on it and it helped but the door should be adjusted
