No, I’m out of Florid. Tampa Bay Area. They were only hiring OTR at this time out of there.
There was a dedicated around Indiana that I was not qualified for due to location.
What results do you get when putting in your address or zip code on their website?

I haven’t been to the shipper you’re at in Atlanta, but I’ve ran through Atlanta a lot over the years (passing through). I always take 75 to 285 and run 285 around to 75 regardless of whether I’m going North or South. When going North, I have stayed on 75 all the way to 20 before, then ran 20 over to 285. I had a local driver tell me on the radio that trucks aren’t supposed to be on 75 past the 20 interchange. Hopefully someone with more knowledge on it will chime in.

Unless you deliver inside loop you are not supposed to be in there

Dido what radio shark wrote I believe I took the bypass and it’s not far from it but the streets are narrow and there’s a few bars that will stay going even in the early am hours.

Thanks guys, I’d figured it out earlier. I left the shipper around 11:30 and the traffic downtown was already a nightmare.
I ended up going east to 285 the same way I came in.
Just got back to the house and will get 24 hours before I leave to deliver.
Fun first load all said, so far.

    Redtwin and Tanker_82 Thank this.

Hey guys, I'm thinking of applying for Indian River. I was wondering how they want you guys to run. I like to run 450-500 miles a day to save hours so I can run continuously on recap. I'm not against longer days (my record is 711 miles in a 68mph truck) but I do prefer 8-9 hour days. Do they normally want you to run out your hours and take a 34 every week or would I be able to run on recap there? Also I live in Oklahoma. Thanks everyone for posting, this is a long thread.

Recaps. I just joined and was told 500 miles a day average by my DM.
Should be easy with a 70mph truck.

I don’t think they care how you run as long as the load is on time I average around 500 a day but I have done a number of 600 + miles in a day. Today was a little over 550 and most of them were in California at 58 mph sitting at shipper now with 1.5 hours left on my clock.

I thought a previous comment said 70 on the pedal and 72 on cruise but maybe I read it wrong.

    Redtwin Thanks this.
