I always get chicken curry or butter chicken and I can't have either without some garlic naan to go with it. Samosas are also good as an appetizer/side.

They tend to differ in what they offer, but I tend to go for the spicier options. Chicken Bhuna or Chicken Jalfrezi. Gotta have a fresh baked Naan (kinda like a big soft tortilla) to go with it. I like samosas too, but they can be hit or miss as it seems everyone does them differently. Some have ground meat, some are potato filled.Cobrawastaken and Born2win Thank this.

If you ever spend the night in Cottage Grove, Or there is a pretty decent Indian food restaurant.

Any of y'all here in Tulare? Quite a few trucks here. Haven't been out this way in months.
Tanker_82 Thanks this. -
I’m not. I ran up to Grandview from L.A. and grabbed a preloaded tank that delivers in Winchester, KY tomorrow. I’ve been running like a ball of fire because there is a note in the comment section that says “Must deliver on time or will probably get rejected.” I assume the facility is closing for Thanksgiving.hope not dumb twucker, Nashville, drvrtech77 and 1 other person Thank this.

On y'all's Spokane runs y'all normally take the 5 or 80?
I've only ran this load once and took the 5 all the way up -
99 to Stockton, then take 4 over to I-5 (few miles) and run I-5 all the way up to 97. I think it’s exit 747. Once you get to Biggs Junction you will jump on I-84.
Most of us only take I-5 all the way up to Portland if the weather is really bad. It’s about 125 miles farther going that route if I remember correctly. 97 is the best way. I haven’t ran 5 up to Portland in probably 5-6 years.Speed_Drums, Nashville, RockinChair and 1 other person Thank this. -
I forgot to request home home for Thanksgiving and I thought I was screwed. I delivered in Wisconsin yesterday and the plan was for me to take a dirty trailer out of there and get it live washed. Best case scenario I'd be home Friday or Saturday and I would miss Thanksgiving dinner with my family. Which was my fault and I can't blame Indian River. Tulsa, OK is way too far to deadhead from Wisconsin. Well it turned out the customer I delivered to had no empties and they couldn't unload my trailer, but I could drop it there. So after waiting a bit to find out what dispatch wanted me to do, this morning they finally decided to go ahead and let me deadhead home. I just had to pick up a dirty trailer from a tank wash in Gary, IN first. I'm very thankful of Indian River for that and I won't forget it. I would have been really sad to miss Thanksgiving dinner with my family so it means a lot to me. I'll probably be home before noon tomorrow.
